The pavilion, themed “From Megawatts to Megabytes: Transforming India’s Power Ecosystem”, showcased how AI and digital technologies are transforming power generation, transmission, and distribution.
Key initiatives on display included:
- AI-Driven Power for a Self-Reliant India: Demonstrating advanced digital solutions to enable smarter operations and improved decision-making across the power value chain.
- Startup Zone: Platform highlighting innovative startup-led solutions supporting the energy ecosystem’s transformation.
- PG-AMRIT: POWERGRID Asset Management through AI in transmission, enhancing asset monitoring and operational efficiency.
- eAabhas Early Warning System: AI/ML and IoT-based platform for real-time monitoring and flood forecasting at dams and barrages.
- AI-Driven RDSS Implementation: Innovative indigenous technologies to improve operational efficiency and revenue management in Indian DISCOMs.

The pavilion demonstrated the Ministry’s commitment to integrating cutting-edge AI technologies for infrastructure reliability, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth in India’s power sector.
DMRC AI Initiatives Highlighted
Shri Manohar Lal also visited the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) exhibition at the Summit. Dr. Vikas Kumar, MD of DMRC, briefed the Minister on AI initiatives including passenger grievance redressal, maintenance monitoring of overhead electrification (OHE), pantograph–OHE interaction, wheel grinding, rolling stock subsystems, and signalling.
These AI applications aim to improve safety, efficiency, and service delivery for millions of commuters, aligning with India’s broader vision for digital transformation in public utilities.
