In a deeply tragic incident in Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh, several lives were lost in an unfortunate accident, prompting heartfelt condolences from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Expressing his sorrow, the Prime Minister conveyed his sympathies to the families who have lost their loved ones and wished for the swift recovery of those injured.
In a message shared through his official account on X, the Prime Minister said, “Saddened by the loss of lives in an accident in Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh. Condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. May the injured recover soon.” His words reflected the collective grief of a nation mourning alongside the affected families.
Recognizing the profound impact of the tragedy, the Prime Minister also announced financial assistance to support the victims’ families during this difficult time. An ex-gratia amount of Rs. 2 lakh from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) will be provided to the next of kin of each deceased person. Additionally, those who sustained injuries in the accident will receive Rs. 50,000 to aid in their recovery.
