Centenary Celebrations Across the Country

The birth centenary of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee is being observed across the country through lectures, cultural programmes, exhibitions, and public discussions highlighting his contributions to India’s political, social, and cultural life. Beyond politics, Vajpayee was also known as a poet and thinker who believed strongly in freedom of expression and respectful debate. His speeches in Parliament are often cited as examples of civility and intellectual depth in public life.

Atal Foundation’s Initiative

The Atal Foundation, which is organising the Indore programme, has been actively involved in initiatives aimed at promoting good governance, nationalism rooted in constitutional values, and social harmony.
